Rik is a Furniture Designer & Cabinet Maker. Originally from Amsterdam, Rik obtained his degree in The Netherlands. His signature pieces typically feature a dark finish. Rik loves kite-surfing & Japanese illustration.
Kahli is a Filmmaker & Writer with high-end Interior Design Residential & Commercial experience, primarily in London. Her first project was an underground Bar in Soho/London, circa 2005. Kahli is mad about dogs, horses & anything Victorian.
Together, Kahli & Rik design, manage, install & run each project with a Client-facing focus.
Floëem leans into elegant & timeless design with a modern or rustic edge & gives lengthy consideration to every aspect of a room. From lighting to colours, furniture, finishes & all the tiny details. Including flow & use, practicality, long-term durability, budget et al.
Floëem will always source materials locally, where possible. Their only rule is ‘No White Kitchens.’ … Unless it’s with a twist.
